Farewell to Blackpool
All good things must come to an end, and this evening, I (rather reluctantly) started the journey back home to Clowne.
After nearing Manchester, I turned East and took the Snake Pass across the Pennines. As I was reaching the heights, the traffic got rather sluggish so I started playing with my car radio. On 92.2, I heard RTE FM quite clearly (though no RDS). Also in this area, Tameside Radio was heard testing on 103.6 FM.
As I got closer to Chesterfield, the RSLs I heard before I set off - Radio Ramadan (Sheffield) 87.7 and Amber Sound (Ripley) 87.9 were heard once more.
