Redroad FM back again

Kiveton based RSL Redroad FM are doing another RSL on 87.7 FM.

Audible in Clowne well enough to receive RDS.
Also audible as far as junction 38 of the A1 (near Doncaster).

Near Leeds, 2 Asian RSL's heard, on 87.7 and 87.9.
More info will be posted when I can positively ID them.

Redroad FM 87.7 is putting out a good signal, heard as far as Chesterfield today.

On the way home, the signal was almost continuously receivable - even in some pretty severe "dips", such as in the valley below Bolsover (near the disused Coalite plant).

Driving along the Redroad

Checking Redroad FM 87.7's coverage on my way to work, a good signal was present on the M1 as far as junction 32, then along the M18 as far as junction 2 (the exit to the A1).

At this point, the signal drastically weakened and reception became intermittent. On and off, a signal could still be recognised as Redroad FM north of Doncaster.

On high ground to the East of Kippax (near Strikes garden centre), a signal can be heard on 87.7 with a listenable signal. The format and music played seems consistent with that of Redroad FM.

Audible with a moderate signal as far south as Clowne.

This afternoon, they seem to have a Northern Soul show.
